Catherine Lalevée September 2017

Following 10 years of group art shows, including one in New Zealand in 2015, Catherine had her first solo exhibition in September 2017 at the Alliance Française of Cambridge.

Since graduating from the Cambridge School of Art in 2013, Catherine has sold her work for private collections in the USA, France, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa – these include her degree show paintings.

Her recent oil paintings are heavily influenced by Kandinsky and O’Keeffe; they aim to capture the beauty of color through stillness and play. Although her paintings, collages and illustrations may first appear disconnected, Catherine’s passion for colour and composition ties them all together.

Catherine sells a range of her art prints, cards and paintings online. As well as being a practicing Fine Artist, Catherine Lalevée is open to commissions, both professional and personal. Her work is available on a sliding scale.
